Once upon a time, back in my pre-IT days, I worked for a motor yacht company seller. We often sailed along the Dnipro and even got to try steering. But motor yachts are usually a premium segment.

Later, I discovered that my buddy organizes tours on sailing yachts, which are much more affordable, so in 2017, after completing theory and practical training in Greece, I’ve got my skipper’s certificate.

Until 2022,we frequently traveled along the Mediterranean coast with our friends, stopping in wild bays, islands and cozy towns that hadn’t yet been overrun by mass tourism. Sailing offers an incredible sense of freedom and tranquility that’s hard to compare to anything else.
