Role Overview

P2H Arabia is seeking a Freelance Legal Advisor to ensure our operations comply with local laws and regulations, manage legal risks, and support our business functions with expert legal advice. This is a freelance position with hourly pay, ideal for a proactive legal professional with extensive knowledge of Saudi Arabian laws and experience advising private businesses.

We are looking for someone who has

• A bachelor’s degree in law is required; a Master’s degree is preferable
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal advisor or in-house counsel, preferably in the tech or digital transformation sectors
• Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian laws and regulations
• Excellent contract negotiation and drafting skills
• Proficient in risk management and corporate governance
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and provide practical legal solutions

Your Impact

• Provide compliance and regulatory advice: local laws and regulations, including corporate governance, labor laws, sector-specific regulations, and updates that impact operations
• Manage contracts: draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure legal soundness and risk mitigation
• Manage risks: analyze and mitigate potential legal risks, advising on dispute resolution and litigation
• Advise on corporate governance and legal matters, and help develop compliant company policies
• Provide operational support: legal support to departments, ensuring compliance, and advising on significant transactions
• Consult on employment law: employment contracts and labor disputes, ensure compliance with labor laws
• Provide legal advice on Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and their implications
• Advise on data protection and privacy laws and manage data handling compliance and breaches
• Train employees on relevant legal topics and implement legal policies and procedures. Assist in the response to any data breaches or security incidents
